I agree with you Arjun. At the end of the day, the foriegn co’s are in to make money and there is absolutely nothing wrong if they sack non performing employees, Indians or anyone for that matter, because at this current juncture, staying lean and mean is the mantra of these companies. And if you want to have a relaxed life, you just say goodbye to fat pay cheques and take a low pressure, low paying job. No pain, No gain.

In Asia, Indians and Filipinos are better English speakers and the skilled talents of both nationalities are very promising.

I believe the Philippines is getting a chunk of these BPOs, KPOs and other outsourcing projects.

I agree to Madhuri. Some of these companies are paying less to workers in Asia. Since their currency has a bigger value, generally they are not spending that much in overhead and gaining profits more than what is expected.

To a certain extent, graveyard workers are exploited with their health at risk and family interaction is lessened. I hope more than the perks of being BPO representatives, these companies will study the working conditions of these people so that they will be well-compensated.

Working is not all about money. It is a fruitful endeavor of working with enjoyment and satisfaction.
