Ofcourse there is no guarantee that cops will do right thing even if they act fast...there was another instance recently where a Air Deccan employee who met with accident was taken to a far off government hospital where she was not attended for more than a hour...she too didn’t survive...

Although the actual purpose of the police is to help the civilians, they don’t really believe in this. They expect people to shudder people in fear at the very sight of them. Most of them are anyway known for uncouth behavior.
