Sad news for tourists and those involved in the trade. This just goes to show that tourism is highly vulnerable and influenced by so many factors beyond its control.First it was the oil price rise, bird flu, etc. now it political agitation. No wonder India is often called a sleeping giant in international tourism.

A beautiful hill station going to the dogs...wish the goverment does something before it becomes too late, and tourists completely stop going as they have to Kashmir.
