My Web 2.0 life is, on the whole, rather anti-social. In fact, the more the Web forces us to socialize, the less liked and the more alone I’ve begun to feel. (Please commence your collective “Awww...”) ...

Maybe, she should try Instablogs so she won’t feel too anti-social. Unless of course, she, too, has a sob story about Muslim fundamentalists, then she’ll feel socially a-whirl. LOL

Thanks for the interesting link Madhuri.
I am sure many people can relate to this article. In fact this whole concept of web 2, networking sites, blogs ets are indeed making us sort of anti-social. They are addictive. Most of us feel we spend only ”free” time here, but if you be honest to yourself, you will realize we spend a lot more than ”free” time here... Atleast its happening with me and many friends I know. Our real life friends, relatives, even work takes back seat... our online social network takes precedence over most other things and most of us end up spending hours and hours online.
Something to think about by people who have families and other responsibilities.

i Think the web allows are to be ourselves, many do feel much more at ease on the net versus person to person conversations... It’s a catchy situation..The net offers the world to us, but at the samr to locks us in our own to access it.
