Steal uranium? Oh boy! Do they want to star their home made nuclear bomb?

Pakistan stole, smuggled and bought fuel enriched uranium to build nuclear bomb. India did not do so. Meghalaya does not have processing facility in their mines. Theft from the mines is a small lapse of the watch and ward department of the concerned mine and is not going to affect the Indo - US Nuclear agreement in any manner; even if the news is sourced by BBC,

Ramesh,
I too was intrigued to see this story as one of the newsleads on BBC site!
But truly appauling is the act of theft of ’uranium’ itself and lapse of security at such an important mining site!
This matter is serious and I hope our country will investigate the matter and identify dangerous nexus lurking on our borders!

In journalistic parlance it is called ”planting stories”. If you read stories on Kashmir written by Muslim writers on AP, BBC, CNN, Reuter and other news channels; you will know what I mean. It is deliberate.

I think it isn’t so easy to build nukes. They may have been some Islamic terrorists for all you know. What were the names of the thieves?

They may lie about their names too. If true, it may be a plant.
